Walter

Cover for the compilation of The Seven Swords chapters 5 & 6.  I'm in the process of moving my comics over to Smack Jeeves, here.   Webcomics nation seems a bit like a ghost town these days.

Ace, The Rabbit

Yeah, go Lemmy.

The 'Taur

Or 'Tar' I guess if you are from the US and pronounce it with a silent U.  5 of Clubs

Swamp Witch

An oldie but one I like.  RIP Lux.

Eurydice

3 of hearts.

Apocalypse Trumps

Drawing on Michael Kaluta here for some creepy not-quite-tarot cards.

Cuisine Cops Birthday Card

Guv!

7 Swords cover, chapters 9 & 10

I was fairly over ambitious with this one, but I guess I learned a few things about digital painting along the way.   Wish I had more time just to tool around in photoshop.

Prometheus

Prometheus, 8 of spades and I think his liver is on the wrong side.  Still, probably just some sloppy vulture work.

Kali

The seven of spades, if I'm not wrong. ("You're not wrong Walter, you're just an asshole")

Hermes

One in a series of playing card myth inspired images, got a few of these now, but nowhere near 52.  Wonder how hard it is to get a deck of cards printed?

Drawing Day 2010: Goatsticks!

Glad I didn't try to draw this one from the front.

Drawing Day 2010: Engel

Something super saiyanish seems to be going on here.  My favorite Dr Strange villains from the '70s have to be The Sons of Satanish.  Not Satan himself, but someone a bit satanish...

Drawing Day 2010: Limit

Not much to say about this one, just doodling while watching Jeremy Irons play a working class father as someone from The Chap.  Not convinced.

Drawing Day 2010: The Kubicle Kobold

Ah, so that's who makes sure the copier is always stocked with paper.

Drawing Day 2010: Bored

Warmup from my sketchbook this morning.  Wish the grey pitt markers didn't go so blotchy when I scan them.

Drawing Day 2010: Captain Sotadic

The blog mascot is here at last.

Ethical saint

I know my inking is a weak spot, so I've been playing with brush markers.  Less chance of a dog knocking the ink over everything, or me smearing a line I just drew.  Slack, I know.

Corrupt face

Not sure where I was going with this one, found it in my sketchbook and can't remember when I did it.  Still, seems a charming enough fellow.

The Prince of the Dead

A back cover for the Seven Swords volume 7/8 reprint.  My attempt to use photoshop to emulate natural media.
